10 African stars who were shining bright at the Grammy Awards.

African music has been enjoying its golden moments on the world stage and the 65th Grammy Awards held in L.A was another of such moments.

From Nominees including Burna Boy, Tems Baby to official invitees such as Dentaa Amoateng, Stonebwoy, Kidi and the likes, the red carpet was nothing short of African excellence.

Host for the evening, comedian Trevor Noah, originally from South Africa, also looked dapper in a white tux and did a stellar job with his performance.

Making statements with their looks designed by homegrown designers or styled by African creatives, the stars represented Africa with their all. Notable mention will be Dentaa in traditional woven kente from Ghana and Tems accessorizing her Vivienne Westwood gown with pearls.

The Recording Academy’s 2023 event which saw nominees like BeyoncéAdeleLizzoHarry StylesTaylor SwiftDoja CatBrandi Carlile, in attendance was also a networking opportunity for their African counterparts who are looking to showcase their talents to a global audience.
