If you’re new to the show, you have two superb seasons to catch up on, which recount the romance between Prince Philip and Elizabeth, and so much more.
8. How to Get Away with Murder
Viola Davies is exemplary as Annalise Keating, a law lecturer who mentors a ragtag of students. Their world is thrown into a whirlwind of suspense and thriller as questions regarding the death of a young girl seemingly implicate each one of them. If you are looking to not step out of your room this weekend, then this show is just want you need.
9. The Umbrella Academy
Based on the comic book series by Gabriel Bá and Gerard Way (who once fronted emo band My Chemical Romance, fact fans), The Umbrella Academy is a delightfully take on the superhero genre. At its heart is a dysfunctional family of super-powered misfits. Plus, it features ’90s R&B star Mary J. Blige. No, she doesn’t sing but she dresses up as a dog mask-wearing assassin and that’s something to check out.
10. Rick and Morty
End your weekend binge with the zany Grandfather and grandson duo who skirt through the galaxy on crazy adventures which usually end in cataclysmic events. The dark humour in this is so brazen that you might gag on whatever popcorn you are chewing.
