5 simple and easy-to-do DIY turmeric masks for gorgeous skin

Here at BraPerucci we take the saying “love the skin you’re in” to heart. We are great lovers of skin pampering, and we do not let our bank balance stop us. Yes, that’s right, give inflation the middle finger!

True, most of us can’t afford expensive treatments at the spa or fancy facial products —but it doesn’t mean we have to go without the benefits of treating our skin the way the Lord intended! Our bodies are temples after all.

And this is why one of our main go-tos when it comes to facial treatments is the God-given spice called turmeric.

Wait, what? Turmeric? Isn’t that just for curries and stews? Beloved, apart from its special anti-inflammatory properties turmeric is that secret beauty gift that keeps on giving. Indian brides have been known to use turmeric as a head-to-toe body scrub to brighten and exfoliate their skin before their wedding day.

Turmeric manages microorganism growth on the skin, wards off acne-causing bacteria, and it prevents other infections from spreading. It also contains powerful antioxidant properties, balances sebum secretion, and helps clean out pores.
