6 amazing futuristic gadgets that you didn’t know you needed.

Lately, it feels like the tech industry is lacking in fresh givings. Don’t get us wrong. We love the new smartphones and their pixel quality but…but. For the most part the tech industry tends to give us a few extra battery life and maybe a bigger phone screen. And that’s all well and good but we want something new- something different. Something that will blow our minds. And it was just our luck because there’s a slew of new tech releases that are poised to do just that.

The Consumer Electronics Show happened in Las Vegas and it did not fail in being the global stage for innovation that it is. Big Tech and other lesser known companies all graced the space with their works and new releases.

Here are 6 amazing futuristic gadgets that you didn’t know you needed.

1. Foldable laptops

You read right. From foldable phone screens we migrate to the future with foldable laptops. The ASUS Zenbook 17 Fold OLED is the cutting edge laptop with a 17.3” Foldable OLED (FOLED) touchscreen when it’s completely outstretched. The future is now indeed.

2. Shades that let you watch cinema-style movies

Yes. The NXTWEAR AIR shades from TCL gives you the vision of watching a 140-inch cinema screen from 4 metres away. TCL is taking the lead with personalised LED. Movies for your eyes only.

3. WiFi charged Remote Controllers.

The Samsung Eco Remote has a solar panel and now you can use it with WiFi. Using your Wi-Fi, you can charge this multi-purpose remote utilising the radio waves that your router emits. Nifty, no?

4. A projector for anywhere and any occasion.

Samsung is on a roll this year. Their Freestyle projector is their latest offering that allows users convenience at home or anywhere else really. This compact projector offers some crisp imaging power – it’s Full HD and can create a screen up to 100 inches. It’ll automatically focus and stays giving you the best viewing experience with a 16:9.

5. Invisible earphones?

“Like having invisible headphones, standing in front of the N1 smart speaker, the sound is coming to you, magically beamed just outside of your left and right ears; you feel immersed in the sounds,” says Noveto, the makers of Smart Beaming. Music only we can hear? The future really is here.

6. A car that changes colour in seconds.

This groundbreaking tech is one that will wow many car lovers. BMW presents its model car which changes colour. Using E Ink their new car change colour from white to black. Although, currently this is a concept of BMW’s, we cannot wait to see it debut all over the market. Variety truly would be the spice of life.
