7 Photos of Ohemaa Afia Kobi Prempeh in Kente that has got everyone talking

At the just ended Presidential Homecoming Ball 2019, a style star was born in the person of real life princess, Ohemaa Afia Kobi Prempeh.

Known in private life as Dr. Caryn Agyeman Prempeh, the well-bred and sophisticated medical doctor is a daughter of the Asantehene, Otumfuor Osei-Tutu II and the founder of Cerviva, a Non-Profit Organisation focused on educating Ghanaian woman on the dangers of Cervical Cancer.

The internet’s attention was drawn to Ohemaa Afia on Saturday night as she joined other Ghanaians from the diaspora in attending the Presidential ball to climax the 4-day Ghana Diaspora Celebration & Homecoming Summit 2019.

Like most guest she was dressed to the nine’s but with an extra oomph that made her the belle of the ball. She dazzled in an emerald green kente creation that has taken over the internet.

Created by Ghanaian designer, Yartel the dress redefined kente fashion as it incorporated contemporary techniques in making the garment a masterpiece. It had a mandarin lace neckline and a modified A-line shape as the gown’s silhouette.

What made the dress an attention-grabber was how she styled and accessorized for the night. She opted for a simple red clutch, two gold bracelets to accompany her well-manicured nails. For her beauty look, she picked the classic makeup and the popular chignon hairstyle to complete the whole glamorous affair.

It’s safe to say that we have a new style star in the Princess-cum-medical doctor and health advocate and we will be watching her pages as she effortlessly dishes style lessons and moments to her thronging following online.
