The men’s fashion scene in Africa has seen a huge face lift for a while now. Africa is gradually becoming a continent to contend with in the game of style. The 21st-century African man has come to accept fashion in a new and refreshing way. It’s therefore not surprising that you’d find a new crop of stylish, dapper and trendy men all over the streets, offices and on the front rows of various fashion events. The rise of the metrosexual man who relishes in his looks and how he is seen by the public is another factor in this revolution. This new found love for dressing and looking well is being advanced by some very stylish men’s fashion bloggers who are constantly updating and inspiring their fans about their daily adventures with fashion whiles giving out some important DIY’s on a daily and weekly basis. We recently did a survey on some of these style-conscious African men who are changing the continent’s image with one clean and spruce look at a time. In no particular order here are the top 10 African fashion bloggers you should know.

Denola Adeptun is a men’s fashion blogger, model and media personality from Nigeria. His style is a major inspiration to fashion lovers across the continent with a very unique and personal taste on his blog. The website which just celebrated its first year  in June derived its name from the combination of his name Adenola (Denola) & E.L Jones’ best-selling novel “Fifty Shades of Grey”. His style is peculiar and he isn’t afraid to try out different style forms whiles staying true to his personal taste and signature looks. Denola has also had a brief stint as a PR consultant in New York and a fashion journalist for Genevieve Magazine amongst other freelance projects.

The photography blog which was started by twin brothers Innocent and Justice Mukheli with their best friend Vuyo Mtopantsha in 2011 has grown and attracted a huge following.
