Adina Thembi’s fiery performance at the just-ended Promiseland will go down as an iconic moment in time for lovers of Ghanaian Afropop and Highlife. From her outfit, her vocals to her entire set; hands down, a serve.

The Ghanaian-South African singer-songwriter and fashion designer performed at the 2022 Gold Coast Promiseland Music Festival, delivering hits from her repertoire. WHY, Sika and Killing Me Softly, were among some of the biggest crowd pleasers of Adina’s performance.

Promiseland is one of Australia’s major music festivals that celebrates Afropop, Reggae and RnB from all over the world. Other performers of this year’s edition included headliners Burna Boy, Tony Wayne and Wycle Jean.

Promiseland is an important part of Gold Coast, Australia’s summer music festival scene. Adina’s electrifying performance comes on the heels of the release of her latest single Adidede off her Amplified studio album.
