#VDJ2019: African stars were shining like diamonds at the 2019 Vodacom Durban July

As one of the biggest social events on the South African calendar, this year’s Vodacom Durban July lived at to the bill as also the biggest outdoor event on the continent.

Under the theme “Stars of Africa”, the 2019 edition which is also the 123rd edition of the historical race saw stars in music, fashion, television, and sports attend in grand style at the Greyville racecourse in Durban, South Africa.

As summer was in full swing, so were the garments that were worn; bright, sophisticated and jaunty. Guests were advised to inject a touch of African culture and tradition into their looks.

Bonang Matheba, Toke Makinwa, Deborah Vanessa, Mai Atafo, Boity Thulo, Somizi, Casper Nyovest were all spotted by the cameras looking their best. Here’s how they shone at the racecourse.
