BET Awards 2022: Nominees and Red Carpet looks from the 2022 BET Awards

It’s the 2022 BET Awards and all roads lead to the Microsoft Theater in Los Angeles June 26. This year’s celebration of Black excellence in music, culture and sports is being hosted by actress Taraji P. Henson.

Alongside feature performances from Babyface, Lizzo, Chance the Rapper, Latto and Jack Harlow. Legendary producer and artist and Sean “Diddy” Combes is also set to be honored with a lifetime achievement award.

Our favorite chart-topping artists arrived to the red carpet in their best looks. From Lizzo swooping in a Gucci velvet feather-sleeve and hemmed dress to Summer Walker bearing it all in a risqué gold number.

While they’re all fashion winners, some will walk away with a different trophy than just best dressed. Doja Cat leads tonight’s nominees with six nods, including Best Female R&B/Pop Artist, Best Female Hip Hop Artist, Album of the Year, BET Her, Video of the Year and Best Collaboration.

Wizkid, Tems and Justin Beiber’s Essence remains a favourite for Best Collaboration.

Scroll down for our best red carpet looks and the full list of 2022 BET Awards nominees.
