Boast-iD presents the marketplace for Emerging Sustainable Luxury Brands From Emerging Markets

Innovative content, community and marketplace. These are some of the words that best describe Boast-iD. With retail going through a seismic change, in part due to the ongoing COVID pandemic, many brands have either accelerated their digital channels or partnered with existing fashion platforms. For sustainable brands, the shift online has varying success as many face stringent requirements to join these marketplaces or not all their production models are taken into consideration. To cater to this underrepresented market Boast-iD introduced a free marketplace for emerging sustainable brands in emerging markets.

With a mission to bring visibility to sustainable brands in emerging markets, Boast-iD has focused on discovering smaller, more agile brands that place sustainability at its Core. “When we at Boast-iD talk about sustainability we talk about the use of sustainable production practices, sustainable materials, community development, and most importantly how they educate their customers,” explains Boast-iD founder Setsabile Mkhabela. Boast-iD does not require paid membership or subscription eliminating a barrier to entry. Brands can sign up to begin their verification process to ensure their sustainability goals and mission are understood. Storytelling and customer interactions are emphasized through various content tools the platform has.

Boast-iD is constantly on the lookout for new sustainable brands to promote and will continue to shine a light on brands making a difference in their communities.
