Facebook (now Meta)-owned messaging app WhatsApp has some news for old OS smartphone users and it isn’t a great one. The messaging app for the past year keeps on rolling out updates to better its security and functionalities. While each update releases the minimum hardware requirements also expand with it. Now, they’ve rolled out a new feature that is set to cut out old smartphone operating system users.
According to reports, WhatsApp will remove support for some Android and iOS devices running on old OS versions from today amd Whatsapp will not work on some smartphones.
