It’s Christmas in Ghana and there’s so much to do and so much to see. We have seen pepper this year coupled with a tumbling economy and inflation.

2022 has been the year of years but all in all, we are grateful that we’ve come this far. What way do you think is best to celebrate than with a banger of a send-off? And a banger is what Christmas in Ghana offers.

This #christmasinGhana promises an array of concerts with a star-studded list of performances. And we are absolutely on top of it.

10th December-Wizkid Live (Accra Sports Stadium)

Wizkid promises yet an electrifying concert with his much-anticipated Wizkid Live concert at the Accra Sports Stadium. After selling out the Madison Square Garden and all the top spots this year, we are ready to get ourselves in a real mood. It’s time to open Christmas in Accra in a spectacular way.

11th December Run for your wife (National Theatre)

Ghana theatre is in its golden days once again and we love to see it.

Run For Your Wife returns to the National Theatre on Sunday, 11th December starring Naa Ashorkor Mensah-Doku, Fiifi Coleman and Arnold Asmoah-Baidoo.

15th December-Bloombar 5th Anniversary

21st December Sundown-Tokyo Experience (Garage)

Nothing should come in the way between you and the Sundown party at Garage which has effectively captured the heart of late-night revellers in East Legon. Everyone loves a great ambience for their selfies coupled with amazing cocktails and eccentric people under the famous Umbrellas.

23rd December Kiz Daniel Concert (Untamed Empire)

21st December Bhim Concert (Stonebwoy & Busy Signal) – Grand Arena

Stonebwoy promises yet another rave of a concert with Busy Signal this time around. If 2021 was anything to go by then it’s time yet again for some heated Caribbean flavour up in this place.

21 December Mozama Disco(La Palm)

Kweku has travelled with his music extensively in 2022, we are excited to hear him out at the Mozama Disco; The Genesis concert. It’s the beginning of what the team calls a “Lead up to the main concert in December 2023”.

23rd December Promise Land- La Palm Royal Beach Hotel

2022 was an excellent year for King Promise; A new album that has received great reviews, an official tune for the Black Stars and so many great concerts under the #5STARWORLDTOUR across the world. This time he’ll end the tour at the Promise Land at La Palm. Get geared for this set.

24th December The CITUATION

The official all-white Christmas party comes off at the Cituation. Definitely a December to Remember with this one.

25th and 26th December Around the World Fest (Accra Polo Court)

Taste cuisines from all over the world at the only culinary festival this December. Can’t wait to try Sushi and Tortillas at this festival.


Last year was two days of entertainment to the max that got guests primed. This year Wildaland is back again in the open with a line-up that’ll have you going wild. See you there people of the wild.

24th – Samini Experience Concert ( Grand Arena, Accra)

Samini the Legend sets the table with his annual celebration of great music and good vibes. And he’s doing it in grand style at the Grand Arena. You can’t miss this.

25th Rapperholic

We’re all addicted to King Sark and that makes us Rapperholics. The official Christmas party comes off for the 10th time in a row at the Grand Arena. We know you can’t wait to be on your feet rapping to some of your favourite lines.


Boxing day with Major League DJZ and all that Amapiano is worth it.


Easily the highlight of #christmasinGhana this year, Afrochella is the concert you do not want to miss especially after the year the organisers have had. The two-day event at El-Wak Stadium on the 28th and 29th is a melting pot of art, music, food and great talk.


What’s all the rave about Ghana’s biggest outdoor party experience coming back with major headliners for 2022?? You can confirm your tickets because Don Eazi, Major League DJ, DJ Neptune and a host of others are turning up for another Detty Rave.
