Hosted for the 5th time by Ricky Gervais who also came with his wife, the 77th Annual Golden Globe Awards was a night for the history books and lovers as they thronged to the red carpet in pairs.
The event which was held last night, January 05, 2020, at the Beverly Hilton hotel in California saw A-listers including Beyonce, Jay-Z, Jennifer Lopez, Alex Rodriguez, Elton John, David Furnish, Ellen Degeneres and Portia De Rossi in attendance.
Nick Jonas, Priyanka Chopra, Eddie Murphy, and Paige Butcher were also locked arms as they posed for photos on the red carpet. We couldn’t help but notice the coordination in the outfit as well as the strong PDA that was in the air as they mingled with other Hollywood names.
Established in 1943, the Golden Globe Awards is an annual event that is usually the first of all the award shows and presented by the 93 members of the Hollywood Foreign Press Association, recognizing excellence in film, both American and International, and the American television.
The awards is considered second in importance both to the Academy Awards (for film) and to the Emmy Awards (for television).
