Davido posted on his Twitter for friends to donate 1 million naira each ahead of his birthday.
The Nigerian musician posted his account details on his verified data. The artist since then has received over a 100 million naira from friends and loyal fans. In a list compiled by the artist, fellow musicians such as Patoranking, OB Cubana and Zlatan Ibile have sent him more than thrice the value of the amount he asked for.
As of 4 hours after the original post, Davido posted a tweet of his balance of over a 100 million naira and still counting.
