From Accra with Love!! Micheal and Lauree's fairytale wedding in the Capital #TheMLAffair19

Ghana’s capital of Accra last weekend experienced a wedding that could be described as one torn out from a fairytale novel.

U.S-based Ghanaian couple, Micheal and Lauree came home in the Year of Return to tie the knot and celebrate their moving love story with friends and loved ones. Micheal was the man Lauretta prayed for and God answered her prayers in every way possible.

The #MLAffair19 begun with a customary marriage ceremony which saw the duo rock some high-end Ghanaian kente with various Adinkra symbol, gold trinkets, beads and crowns depicting royal blood.

Both of their ceremonial entrances were epic and have become a viral sensation on the photo-sharing app, Instagram.

When it came to the white wedding, the couple once again showed up in a stunning gown and dapper suit as they exchanged vows. Lauretta wore a strapless lace gown embellished with crystals and a diamond crusted hairpin stood elegantly attached to her cathedral-length veil and her high-pony and later changed into an emerald green dress for the reception. Micheal wore a white tux as his boys rocked red agbada, a new trend we seriously approve for groomsmen.

Guests, Family, Friends, and colleagues couldn’t help but notice how in love the two were.

Another major area of the wedding that was chronicled by Team Nhyira was the reception. Guests had so much fun and in the video, they could be seen break dancing to melodious tunes.

Watching her Dad give her hand in marriage to Micheal as the clergy looked on almost brought us tears. We don’t have to talk much, see it for yourself.
