Ghanaian Reggae-Dancehall star Sonni Balli passes on

Ghanaian Reggae-Dancehall legend Sonni ‘Kwabena Amoako Akoanor’ Balli is reported to have passed away. Artiste and friend of the deceased Mark Darlington broke the news via a Facebook Post.

He made the announcement on Facebook on Thursday, June 9.

Sonni Balli who celebrated his 40th birthday on June 6, reportedly passed away after a cardiac arrest. Sonni Balli was popularly known for his smash hit song When You’re Gone.



Social media was awash with condolences from celebrities and avid fans for Solli Balli.









The Ghanaian Dancehall music fraternity has lost a great legend.
