Ghanaian sprinter Joseph Amoah sets new 200m indoor national record

Ghanaian born Joseph Amoah shattered the 200m Indoor National Record with a record 20.57 seconds. This record ranks Amoah in 1st place in Africa and 5th worldwide.

The 25-year old pacesetter has a three under records notched under his belt; the indoor 200m, the 4x100m and the outdoor 200m. Amoah shattered the Ghana 200m indoor national with a time of 20.57 seconds in the final to win the men’s race at Boston, MA.

This was what Amoah had to say on his Twitter page.

Amoah captained Ghana’s athletics team at the Tokyo 2020 Olympic Games in Japan and is clearly gunning for nothing but gold.

We are stoked for Joseph Amoah’s win and are looking forward to seeing him sprint up bigger and better heights.
