Here’s how #KayVee19 went down last week in Accra

We really couldn’t wait to share our wedding of the week story with you.

If you’ve been following us on Instagram you would notice that we’ve been sharing updates of this wedding since last week Saturday and we’re finally capping it off with this bombass feature.

Our favourite TV Doctor, Vanessa Aseye and her Lieutenant Davison Mensah took their love to the altar in a beautiful way.

The wedding was abuzz with a lot of magical moments, beautiful smiles (a few tears from herself and her mum), energetic bridesmaids and a galaxy of Ghanaian stars.

For bridal prep, Vanessa wore dainty bridal robes as their hair and makeup was done by beauty professionals. Later, she was unveiled to the world as she was decked in a red and blue Kente grown from She By Bena.

Her Knight in Agbada (not shining armor) was looking dashing and glorious while his men gallantly stood by him royal blue kaftans.
Our favorite outfits were the peach outfits they both coordinated as their second wedding outfits. The Bride rocked the peach Aso-Oke as the Groom did it in Agbada. You really need to see all the photos from this Ghanaian wedding.

A week ago today i got married to an amazing man…..let me tell you why✨

I married my husband, ( @im_davison )
Because in everything he makes me feel safe
He brings me a sense of peace, makes me feel secure and ensures that my worries are only worries. I married my husband because he reassures me, makes me know that there isn’t anyone else but me. Because he doesn’t just open up to anyone or makes me feel easily “replaceable”.Because he promises to keep our vows sacred, and even when there are so many others throwing themselves at him, he still chooses me. Because he doesn’t make me look a fool or put me in a position of embarrassment, he respects me and with him i don’t have to feel insecure. Because he listens when i have no words and because my tears mean so much he is careful so i do not shed any. I married my husband because i am proud to be called his wife. ♥️ 📸: @iconicphotography_
