Justin Bieber has taken a step into Afrobeats by featuring on the remix of Wizkid’s hit summer anthem, Essence. The remix was released yesterday the 12th of August.

This is the first for Justin Bieber with regards to the Afrobeats genre. Wizkid and Tems’ Essence music video, which was shot in Ghana, has received over 20million views on YouTube. The hit charted No. 67 on Billboard’s Hot 100 debut.
We believe this is the start of a mutually beneficial cultural exchange between both Award-winning artists.
