Congratulations to Ms. Angela Kyeremanten-Jimoh who has just been appointed as Microsoft’s new Strategic Partnership Lead for Africa. Ms. Kyeremanten-Jimoh shared the amazing news on her Twitter page.
Her new role will have her operating from Microsoft’s newly formed Africa Transformation Office (ATO).
Ms. Kyeremanten-Jimoh is expected to not only build strategic partnerships with governments and financial institutions but also collaborate with telecommunications operators, multinational and international organisations across the entire African continent.
Microsoft is keen on establishing its foothold in the digital transformation of Africa. Their target is to invest in Small and Medium Enterprises, start ups, digital infrastructure and development of skills.
Ms. Kyeremanten-Jimoh brings her experience as the former General Manager of IBM North, East and West Africa to her new role. A true mover and pacesetter in the African and global tech industry, Ms. Kyeremanten-Jimoh is indeed a role model to women looking to leave their mark in the tech space.
