Meet Rachel Yram, Ghana’s youngest author who just presented a novel to the Asantehene

Seven-year old author Rachel Yram is well on her way towards great heights. Early on in the year ‘More’ Nice City author Rachel Yram received plaudits from the Representative of Unesco to Ghana.

And now, Rachel is presenting a signed copy of her book to the Royal Court of the Asantehene during the 5th Awukudae of 2022.

Asantehene Osei Tutu II sat in state with his retainers at the Manhyia Palace and received Rachel Yram together with her family who were among 16 different delegations to call upon his highness.

Rachel Yram who wrote her book ‘More’ Nice City when she was six (6) is said to have read more than half a dozen books before she was five (5)!

Rachel’s 22 paged “More Nice City” book, which is yet to be launched, has already received recognition from the United Nations International Children’s Emergency Fund (UNICEF) and the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organisation (UNESCO).

We look forward to seeing more greatness from this budding author.
