Miss Malaika 2018 Winner Marian Owusu-Poku’s and Joel’s Intimate Wedding Ceremony is The Content You Signed Up For

Miss Malaika 2018 winner, Marian Owusu-Poku and Joel were married in a beautiful traditional ceremony at the Lotus Garden in East Legon on April 2, 2021.

The beautiful couple were the talk of social media as their glamorous union was broadcasted by their various vendors.

“Bride too Hot had to drop iPhone Pic for shegay reasons 😍😍😍 #InHisTime2021,” Award-winning Ghanaian Wedding Photographer, Chocolate Shot It shared on Instagram.

Joel and Marian worked with the sought-after event stylist, Eventellz to bring their vision to life in their decor and sitting arrangement.

The decor consisted of a rustic theme that featured hanging lamps, pink rose flowers that dropped from the top and twilight aesthetics.

“It was everything I wanted and more thank you ❤️🔥,” said Marian under a video post shared on social media.

Netizens described the decor and table arrangement from eye-candy to creative and talented.

For hair and makeup, she contracted the services of @iam_jayclaud and @phuus_wig_stall who worked together to create a glam look and regal bridal hair.

Despite being a new name in the bridal gown industry, Marian took her chances on emerging designer, Vee Fashion Base 1 who created a custom Kente corset and sleet for her look as well as a red-carpet worthy reception dress for the night.

Joel as a groom also did not leave any stone unturned in looking his very best for the once-in-a-lifetime event spotting bold Kaftan looks and a matching green kaftan.

A sentimental moment captured on video shows the bride and her look alike mum sharing a close moment prior to her unveiling. The flower crown and prayers have etched the moment right in our subconscious.

From dancing with her maidens to sharing a special first dance with her man, Marian’s wedding was full of music and joy.
