Samira Bawumia rocked a stunning blue dress to the #7forseven event as an honoree

We all know who holds the title for “most stylish woman” in Ghana, the beautiful and intelligent, Samira Bawumia, wife of the Vice-President of Ghana.

And as she continues to slay real hard, she’s also fighting for noble causes dear to her heart through her Samira Bawumia foundation. In recognition of her noble and gallant deeds, Mrs Bawumia has been selected as one of seven global honorees at Seven for 7 –a celebration by Sustainable Energy for All (SEforALL) and Ashden.

Samira who is currently in New York on the sidelines of the 73rd United Nation’s General Assembly, shared the news via her social media page.

She wrote: “This was in recognition of my contribution towards driving action on UN Sustainable Development Goal 7 (SDG7); the call for universal access to modern, reliable, renewable and affordable energy for all, by 2030.”

For the event, she wore a stunning blue and yellow dress with a sheer fabric around the bodice and the arm area. Adding a yellow headwrap and simple earrings to the ensemble to give a modest outlook as a hijabi and devout Muslim woman.

“I wish to thank the organisers, for the recognition. As a Global Ambassador for the Clean Cooking Alliance, I am challenged to do more.(“

She concluded
