Serwaa Amihere transformed into a real-life Ghanaian queen for #GhanaWeekonGhOneTV

It’s Ghana’s 64th Independence Anniversary on Saturday, 6th March 2021 and per usual the whole month is dedicated to celebrating the beautiful West African Nation.

GHOne Television has also dedicated the first week of the month to celebrate our culture, heritage and identity a.k.a #GhanaWeekonGHOneTV.

TV personality and fashion IT girl, Serwaa Amihere was among the list of presenters on the network who have been dressing to the nines in Ghanaian cultural pieces.

For Serwaa, she morphed from the sexy girl next door to a a proud Ghanaian queenmother adorned in the traditional kente, beads, sandals and a ‘Densikra’ (traditional crown worn by female royalty).

The ensemble which was styled by the National Theatre of Ghana is mainly worn by Akan-speaking tribes in Ghana.

Fans and friends of Serwaa couldn’t help but applaud the transformation they saw on TV after she shared the images on social media.

Berla Mundi described the look as ‘Beautiful 😍’ with her former colleague at GHOne, Cookie Tee also enstooling her as a queen with the name ‘Ohemaa Serwaa the 1st 🤗’

Serwaa later changed into an original Kaba and Slit which also caught the eyes of many others .
