#TheMalmtrimony: You got to see the gorgeous images from Maame and Albert’s traditional wedding

After keeping everyone waiting for weeks, the official images and videos for Albert and Maame’s traditional wedding are finally here.

The images were shot by Ghanaian wedding photographer, Hot Sorce of Sorce Photography during the partial lockdown that allowed few people at public gatherings.

Albert and Maame in an earlier post said they met at the bank where Maame spoke the relationship to existence.

For most African Christians, traditional weddings also known as customary weddings are organised by the family of the couples prior to the White or Christian weddings.

However, the lack of a white wedding does not invalidate the traditional wedding as this is recognised by the family and has biblical references.

On the day of the wedding, Maame was a vision of beauty in a beaded aqua kente dress with intricate beading on the well-patterned corset, a glossy face beat and a classic up-do with elegant earrings.

For Albert, he draped his muscular frame with 10 yards of Kente, a gold necklace and later transitioned into an ostentatious traditional kaftan for their court wedding a few moments later.

Her bridesmaids joined the party wearing different bridesmaids dress in Burnt Orange and matching Nigerian Gele.

They sure did have a good time on their big day and here are the photos as proof
