Travel Update: Ghanaians to travel to the Bahamas without a visa after waiver agreement

Ghana’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Regional Integration has recently announced the signing of a mutual visa waiver agreement with the Commonwealth of the Bahamas.

This agreement, detailed in a circular dated 20th February 2024, aims to strengthen cooperation between the two countries, which share mutual interests based on a common history, culture, and identity.

The reciprocal visa waiver agreement means that holders of ordinary Ghanaian passports can now travel to the Bahamas without the need to apply for a visa.
