Ms Valerie Lawson, the Artistic Director for Maybelline NY, Ghana, multiple award-winning makeup artist, and beauty entrepreneur who began her adventure in the beauty industry in 2010 while in Business School (UGBS) will be hosted by My Runway group to run a training session on Mac Cosmetics make up.

Valerie is a makeup artist, instructor, and businesswoman who has worked on celebrities such as H.E. Erna Solberg, Mrs. Reeta Roy, Maria Borges, H.E. Mrs. Samira Bawumia, Ms. Bozoma St. John, and Mrs. Nicole Ari Parker. This training session will be the first will be the first collaboration with Mac Cosmetics on the continent and it will be facilitated by the flawless and precise hands of Ms. Lawson.
Lawson acknowledged the growth of the beauty industry and outlined plans to collaborate with other beauty brands to bring visibility to the continent as she spoke about the exciting partnerships she’s secured this year, including a new role as the Beauty director of Curated African Concept Store, The Lotte.

She highlighted that she personally believes that it is an exciting time for African to be a Creatives since the arts are taking over the world and that she is excited about it because it’s a fresh concept that has never been done before.
The world-renowned beauty entrepreneur will present a once-in-a-lifetime workshop at the M•A•C Cosmetics Flagship Store on Carnaby Street in London, which is being produced by My Runway Group in collaboration with M•A•C Cosmetics UK.
