Transcendence an ATAFO Bridal Fashion Film

Transcendence, Mai Atafo’s debut short film showcases his flair for whimsical storytelling through his new bridal collection for ATAFO. Presenting a sneak peak into ATAFO’s 2020 bridal collection, the film opens with an enchanted bride-to-be played by Nigerian actress, Jemima Osunde, wearing a tea lenght, off shoulder dress and gliding through a vision of ATAFO wedding dresses. Using divergent visual textures and moods, Mai who served as creative director for transcendence sought to design an experience that adapts the label’s panache for showmanship by transitioning from wedding dresses on mannequins to future brides. ATAFO, celebrated for their ability to take brides on a dreamy journey, this film directed by Fedworks, takes the viewers on this journey too - from each bride’s giddy first fittings to their big day in their statement ATAFO wedding dresses. Each ATAFO dress, personally touched by brand creative director, Mai Atafo is an embodiment of craftsmanship and sophistication.
