Watch Aku Akuffo share the journey to making her trend-driven reception gown

We love a content creator and blogger like Aku Akuffo who knows how to get us wriggling in our boots with premium content.

Ghanaian style blogger and newly-wed Aku Akuffo has been serving us all the tea on how she prepped up for her beautiful wedding in Feburary of 2020.

Aku’s wedding to Brian at the Osu Castle is still one of the biggest and classiest bridal events to happen in Ghana till date.

The beautiful bride partnered with Pistis Ghana to design her statement-making and trend-driven reception gown in red as opposed to her white gown which was made by Galia Lahav.

The bejewelled high slit gown with a floor-length train was on of the highlights of her big day.

“Hi, guys I hope you guys are doing well and safe. Today, I wanted to talk to you about more things to do with weddings. So let’s talk about reception dresses…before people used to wear their wedding gowns all night,” she announced looking pretty charming in the video

Here a few tips she shared:

1.Wear a reception dress if you want to. Don’t follow trends

2. Choose comfort for your reception dress but be sexy

3. Go with something that will still make you stand out as the bride

4.Don’t shy away for bright colours especially for dark skin girls

5. Find inspiration from Pintrest, Instagram or attend a bridal fair and explore vendors.

Congratulations Aku once again!! You were a fairytale princess in your reception gown.
