And that was the exact situation popular Nigerian actress, Funke Akindele-Bello of Jenifa’s diaries and Entrepreneur Omoyeni of Mwanga Africa found themselves.

At the 7th edition of the Africa Magic Viewer’s Choice Awards which took place in Lagos, Nigeria, Funke and Omoyeni both attended the events in a similar gown by Arabian designer, Fouad Sarkis.

Funke, the popular of the two, was pictured on social media rocking the strapless black dress with intricate floral embroidery and a train. She matched it with a gold clutch, two silver rings and her hair parted in the middle.

The award-winning actress was styled by Medlin Boss with her face beat to perfection by iconic male makeup artist, @jideofstola. She’s been listed in several blogs and website as part of the best-dressed list and also walked home as an award-winner.

Omoyeni, on the other hand, was styled by Hyperfashun who retailed the dress from a luxury boutique, Pm Luxury in Nigeria.

In a post on Instagram, she wrote: ” Honoured to be your stylist!! Dress- @fouadsarkisofficial from @pmluxury18
MUA- @keemamua
Hair- @emmystylesignature
Jewellery- @pinkperfection_accessories 📷- @keziie

Fans on social media have been giving their reviews about the clash of looks and the style wars might not end soon.
