What wonderful news!
Prophet Gideon Danso (opens in a new tab), lead pastor of Empowerment Worship Centre, and his wife Gina welcomed twins, and the couple shared the news on Saturday in a joint Instagram post that had followers celebrating all morning.
The video shows a beaming Gideon walking down a hospital corridor with a car seat in each hand, while Gina follows close behind, smiling from ear to ear.
She captioned the post with Psalm 126:5–6: “They that sow in tears shall reap in joy. He that goeth forth and weepeth, bearing precious seed, shall doubtless come again with rejoicing, bringing his sheaves with him,” before adding, “God is faithful!”

The couple’s love story caught Ghana’s attention from the very start. Gideon introduced Gina to the EWC congregation on 20 April 2025 and married her less than a week later, in a simple ceremony with no suit, makeup or veil, which he said cost him just GH₵600.
Gina, a London-based beauty entrepreneur who runs Hapin Beauty Lounge, has since become a familiar face as the first lady of EWC.
Within minutes of the post going up, the comments filled up with congratulations. “God is faithful!!! Big congratulations,” one follower wrote, while another simply said, “Good God, Twinssss!” Glitz Africa founder Claudia Lumor added, “What a blessing,” and broadcaster Ekow Barnes wrote, “GOD IS FAITHFUL.”
