We have the Verdict!! Here’s a look at the best and worst dressed personalities at the 2020 Golden Movie Awards

The 2020 edition of the Golden Movie Awards has gone down at the Fantasy Dome of the Accra Conference Center.

Like every red-carpeted event in the country, most people came out looking like a million bucks after putting careful thought into whatever they wore right from the crown of their head to the soles of their feet on the red carpet.

Others on the hand were not successful in pulling any jaw-dropping look or style on the red carpet.

Here is our fashion verdict for the best and worst dressed at this year’s Golden Movie Awards

Joselyn Dumas

The Golden Movie Awards was just another night for TV’s golden girl to catch our attention in a corseted gown by Epiphani and she sealed the glamorous night with a high ponytail, stunning makeup and a crimson red lipstick.

Our Verdict: Total Hit

Salma Mumin

Salma Mumin got the rare opportunity of putting her hosting skills to use as the co-host from last night. A stunning purple sequined gown was ruined with a needless train which was probably inspired by Malificent.

Verdict: More room for improvement

Kalsoume Sinare

It was lovely to see our favourite childhood actress honoured for her contributions to the entertainment industry. The bejewelled head turban is fit for Muslim royalty coupled with the svelte silk gown. We love the draping and the train and everything else. Rich Aunty Vibes

OUR VERDICT : Hit

Martha Ankomah

Everyone’s favourite girl, Martha Ankomah appeared on the red carpet in a green doll dress 👗 with ribbons 🎀. She gave us bridal inspiration with that gown and we love nuptials so why not

OUR VERDICT : Safe

Sister Deborah

A mermaid gown for the African mermaid by House of Paon also featured a stunning mid-rib corset and a Rapunzel ponytail. She was a literal character from a fairytale.

OUR VERDICT : Creative and a Hit

Too Sweet Annan

Too Sweet Annan got us under a spell as he looked spruce in a powder blue floral tuxedo

OUR VERDICT : Hit

Akorfa Edjeani

Auntie Akorfa wrecked the golden ball in this elaborately unflattering outfit. From the butterfly sleeves to the print and silk on the ball gown, everything felt like a bad dream.

OUR VERDICT : Hideous

Fiifi Coleman

Fiifi Coleman went full native in his red kaftan over native sandals and amulets.

OUR VERDICT :Not a favourite look

Peter Ritchie

It’s a safe look for Ghanaian actor Peter Ritchie and we wouldn’t remember it after tonight.

OUR VERDICT :BorinG!!

MzGee

It’s the blonde hair for us and we love major parts of this sequinned gown maybe they could have done more work on the nude sleeves.

OUR VERDICT : OK

Beverly Afaglo

We really have no words for this mess that keeps getting messier every red carpet season.

OUR VERDICT : Shamefully Bloodcurdling

Osebo and the Daughters of Glorious Jesus

Fashion according to Osebo is madness and its high time we get himself and his gang an asylum.

OUR VERDICT: Absolutely Disastrous

Angela Bamford

Angela makes our top 3 contenders for best dressed in this black number. We have the hots for her actually.

OUR VERDICT : Hit

Elikem

A suit, a kaftan, what else would you want to add?? A smock. Elikem didn’t live up to his status as a fashion designer.

OUR VERDICT: Shambolic

Pascaline Edwards

We have mixed feelings about Auntie Pascaline and her look. Stunning dress, great hair but she doesn’t look really well. Maybe it’s just us but it was great seeing her again.

OUR VERDICT : Hit

Moesha Boduong

CNN’s Moesha Boduong was well covered in her black dress but it’s the hair that sold the look for us. Lol!! We’ve seen her bestie Salma in a similar look though.

OUR VERDICT: Safe
