Philip & Mensima’s wedding was a star-studded one

Ct. Philip Elorm Mensah and his beautiful wife, Efua Mensima Jecty‘s wedding was a beautiful ceremony filled with the movers and shakers of Christianity in Ghana.

The presence of these “big” men during the event didn’t take away the spotlight from the young couple but rather added more glory.

Philip, a newly graduate from pilot school is the son of Reverend Steve Mensah of the Charismatic Evangelistic Ministry which also explains the presence of Archbishop Nicholas Duncan-William, Bishop Dag Heward-Mills, Speaker of Parliament, Rt Hon. Mike Ocquaye Sr and a bevy of other guests at the nuptial ceremony. And oh!!! the trinity was present at the proceedings too to invoke eternal blessings on them. This wedding is all the proof you need that heaven will be glorious.

How They Met

Close insiders to the bride and groom told us about the fateful event that first brought these two love birds together.

“Philip and Mensima both attend the same church but had not come into contact with one another. They first met at a youth program in our church and Philip who is also a keyboardist was playing at that time. They both spotted each other and their friendship sparked from that time and graduated into other things which has now become marriage” the source explained.

Traditional Wedding

The kaleidoscopic traditional wedding took place a few days before the white wedding. As with every Ghanaian traditional wedding it was rich with culture, colour, music and style. The beautiful Mensima dazzled guest in an eclectic wine and yellow Kente gown by ShebyBena. Groom, Philip who had come to whisk his bride away was sharp in a white and wine tunic kaftan which oozed style and precision. The bridal party were also decked in wine and white looks to complement the couple.

White Wedding

Mensima and Ct Philip’s christian wedding took place at the Great Hall of the Anagkazo Bible and Ministry Training School, Mampong. Ct. Philip was on flight mode in his pilot uniform and cap as he anxiously stood at the end of aisle waiting for her perfect bride. And perfect she was as she waltzed her way to the altar in the arms of her father in a gorgeous hand-made fishtail gown and a cathedral length veil.

In front of her were swan-like flower girls and a page boy who dropped petals to herald her entrance.

Our words cannot do justice to how magnificent the event so check out these photos.

Flight No.060419 has officially taken off and Captain Jesus is behind the steering wheels. Philip and Mensima are on board till eternity as Air Hostess, Holy Spirit serves them with cool ass gift of the spirit and good tidings. Congratulations Mr and Mrs Mensah.
