#RA_2019: Jema Studios is bringing back memories from the best wedding of 2019 during the lockdown season

Jema Photography is bringing back nostalgic memories of arguably the best wedding of 2019 whiles we observe lockdown.

It’s been 66 weeks since Abena and Reginald had their fairytale kind of wedding at the Labadi Beach Hotel with friends and love ones all present.

Loved for their crisp and animated wedding photography, the team at Jema Studios who can’t go out to shoot due to social distancing and ban on large gatherings such as weddings decided to bring back this beautiful wedding to the timeline.

For service providers like themselves, the presence of COVID-19 in Ghana has greatly impacted their work as most couples have had to postpone their big day.

We reached out to the team during lockdown season to ask them questions on how they created these super images and this what they had to say:

1. Tell us about your company and what you do

Jema Studios is a Photography and Videography company established in 2012 with the aim of delivering excellent work of art through creative minds and unique storytelling techniques into beautiful memories. We believe in ensuring value for money by creating memorable experiences for clients and guaranteeing 100% satisfaction.

2. What was special about this particular couple?

Their dedication and commitment to get outstanding images. They trusted us so much making available all the time we needed before and during their event to create amazing pictures without any distractions or surprises. It was a full collaboration from start to finish.

3. Taking us through the process of booking with your team

Kindly pick from our Ratecard any package that best suits your event and make the necessary adjustments if need be. Then kindly fill our “Contact Us” form with all necessary information to request for an invoice in order to make payments. This Payment will confirm your booking. We will then send you a receipt and confirmation date slip via Whatsapp or Email. Shortly after we will send you a questionnaire to fill with precise details and information to be sent back to us via Email or Whatsapp. A Photographer and Creative Director will be assigned to your event as we prepare the team counting down to your big day{this is usually month to your event}. Regular follow up messages will be sent to you to ensure that the entire team is fully abreast with the turn of events and all necessary information and commitments fully adhere to for a successful day. After your event, we will also send you our review forms to give us feedback on our performance based on your event.

4. What were some of the moments that stuck with you during this wedding

Their garden wedding and setup was so illustrious. For the traditional wedding was the presentation of gift and dowry. It was very elaborate, well organized and colourful

5. As the best wedding of 2019, how were you able to collaborate with other vendors to deliver such word-class content right here in Ghana

Unlike many of the wedding we document, we had two Pre-production meetings with all the vendors on-site and off-site. This helped to get everyone well prepared for the event and ensured smoothly operated with little surprises.
