GTP LAUNCHES TWO NEW EXCITING PRODUCTS

Accra, Ghana. Friday 2nd Nov, 2018: Ghana’s trusted name in quality and authentic textile prints, TEX STYLES GHANA LIMITED, has launched two new exciting products unto the Ghanaian market.

1. GTP ADEPA DUMAS

GTP Adepa Dumas is an outstanding new range of premium quality fabrics targeted at women who know their worth and express their style with grace.

The new Adepa Dumas offers consumers fabrics with an even smoother feel, new & unique designs, glossy and richer colors. The stylish range boasts of diverse patterns and colourway, leaving GTP enthusiasts spoilt for choice. Suitable for formal, social and casual wear, the fabrics can be perfectly fashioned to suit individual preferences.

Speaking at the launch event, the Managing Director of Tex Styles Ghana Ltd, Erik van der Staaij thanked Ghanaians for their immense support in establishing GTP as the benchmark in quality Ghanaian fabrics for over 50 years. He bemoaned the unfair competition in the Textiles industry caused by counterfeiters and smugglers of pirated fabrics and called on the Government to expedite the process of including the industry in the Tax Stamp policy. He celebrated the resilience and innovative spirit of the Company that has enabled brand to survive all these years despite the challenges.

2. VG JALA APP

The Company also launched a new value-added service called VG JALA APP. Launching the app, the Marketing Director of GTP, Rev Stephen Kofi Badu explained that the app was meant to assist consumers to locate with ease dealers of GTP/Woodin/Vlisco closest to them anywhere in the country. The app is also designed to help consumers select the most appropriate fabrics for any occasion and help them have a preview of how garments made from the selected fabrics will look on them. “This is a tool to empower our consumers to make choice”, Rev Badu said. The app was designed and developed by the Ghanaian firm Zlitch Technologies.
