Ghana’s Next Super Model 2018 jilts organizers after arriving in Paris

Drama is brewing in the camp of organizers of Ghana’s Next Super Model and their recent winner, Grace Ama Amponsah over reports that she has run away to an unknown location in Paris.

According to organizers, Grace who had been with the team to several parts of Europe on a working trip left the apartment without informing them and has since not returned.

Speaking to Fashionghana.com, Spark Zuta, C.E.O of the organization and agent for Grace explained that they had left her in an apartment only to return to find the house locked. After several hours, they broke into the apartment only to find out that she had packed her things and left without informing once hence the need to report to Parisian police.

A CCTV footage from the building shows Grace leaving the building to an undisclosed location. But reacting to the development, a friend of the model and a close source disclosed that the model was frustrated with the actions of the organizers. According to her, Grace said she was not being paid her wages despite the numerous shows and felt she was being ripped off by organizers.

Other sources claim to have seen the dark Ghanaian model in videos having a time of life. It is unclear if she intends on returning to Ghana or has plans of staying in France.

However, her actions has raised questions in the media over the treatment of models and by modelling/escort agencies and the abuse that exists in the fashion industry.

In 2018, the winner of Miss Ghana, Margaret Dery and a number of past queens accused it’s C.E.O Marian Inna Party of using them as sexual baits for investors and verbally abusing them as well as failing to provide them with the gifts and souvenirs that came with the crown.
