Sandra Ikeji and her 200 bridesmaids are the current Guinness world record holders for most bridesmaids at a wedding

Sandra Ikeji, Wedding Planner and sister of Nigerian blogger, Linda Ikeji, yesterday, 11th January 2020 not only married the man of her dreams but managed to pull off a Guinness world record in the process.

The award-winning planner went into the history books and took social media by storm when it was announced that she was having 200 bridesmaids at her wedding.

Images that surfaced online showed all two hundred ladies posing at a camera and a drone that flew ahead. According to media reports, Sandra had mentioned earlier in 2019 the intention of holding such a world record and she actually did.

The couple’s traditional wedding which took place in the bride’s hometown of Nkwerre, Imo state was also a viral station few weeks ago.

Sandra and Arinze first had a church ceremony and followed through with a grand event at the Landmark Event Center in Lagos. With the hashtag #TheBonds2020, Sandra and her girls have taken the baton from American, Tina Ackles, who had 168 bridesmaids at her wedding.
