18 Artsy Instagram images we are loving from the V For Vanity Floral Show at the Mhoseenu Design Studio

Were you at the opening of V for Vanity Floral Show at award-winning design hub, Mhoseenu Design Studio last week in Accra?? If you weren’t then you missed a whole lot. However, you have until the 5th of January, 2019 to pass through and see what we are talking about for yourself.

The V for Vanity show aims to explore daily socio-economic issues that affect everyday Africans through the concept of “VANITY”.

The installations from the December/January edition touches on the adverse effects of white colonialism and media on the African/Ghanaian mind. A statement from it’s Instagram account reads:

“This installation is a representation of the content deficit we currently have in Ghana. The Brain Washing Do Not Disturb room signifies how western media has influenced our thought process and content production. It’s a call for us Ghanaians to make more effort to create original, engaging content “

@TheVforVanityShow

It also goes ahead to explain the idea behind it’s flower baskets and the other installations in the other 10 showroom and outdoor bar (Did someone say booze?? Yes..let’s drink to that)

It’s clear that it’s been a huge success from the social media interactions it’s attracted since the show was opened to the public. We have a few favorite images from the event and we’d love you to check them out.

Take a look
