Ghanaian fashion is making waves on the global stage! BOYEDOE, the cutting-edge label founded by David Boye-Doe Kusi, has been named one of the 20 semi-finalists for the prestigious LVMH Prize for Young Fashion Designers.

Known for its genderless designs that fuse contemporary fashion with Ghanaian heritage, BOYEDOE is redefining ethical elegance. The brand is also making history as the first Ghanaian label to ever reach the semi-finals since the LVMH Prize launched in 2013.

The semi-finals are set to take place on March 5th and 6th, where BOYEDOE will go head-to-head with some of the most promising young designers from around the world.

Co-founder Nana K. Duah shared his excitement about the milestone, saying,
“We’re thrilled to share this achievement with our community. As a brand committed to ethical elegance, we’re proud to represent Ghana on the global stage.”

The LVMH Prize has helped catapult the careers of fashion powerhouses like Virgil Abloh, Thebe Magugu, and Orange Culture. This year, the winner will walk away with a €400,000 endowment and a one-year mentorship from LVMH’s top industry experts.

Additionally, the Karl Lagerfeld Prize and Savoir-Faire Prize will each award a €200,000 grant plus mentorship to outstanding designers.

With BOYEDOE in the mix, Ghanaian fashion is stepping into the international spotlight like never before!
