How #Takes2ToTackie went down on Val’s day weekend

Love has a peculiar way of bringing two souls who are meant to be together. 

When Wendy Wiredu’s grandmother got ill a few years back, all grandchildren were tasked in offering her hospice care in her home.

As it got to her turn to care of “granny”, Dr Enoch who worked in the same hospital as their cousin, Mich was benevolent and gracious enough to observe the old woman in bed.

In Wendy’s own words that was the day their “amazing love life commenced” and thankfully it led to the solemnization of Holy matrimony on Valentine’s weekend at the Pentecost International Worship Centre, Dome in Accra.

Pre-Wedding

The pair were privileged to capture their beautiful love story in the face of the ban on pre-wedding photos by the Church of Pentecost at the Kwarleyz Residence in Accra. Fortunately, their poses were holy and sanctimonious and did not infringe on the church’s orders.

Traditional Wedding

Wendy and Enoch’s traditional wedding took place on the 9th of February, 2019. In a grand durbar befitting an Ashanti queen, Wendy was radiant in a single strap kente dress from self-taught designer, Ajoa Akwaboah whiles Enoch came for his queen in a white kaftan shirt and a kente shawl.

White Wedding

The beautiful white wedding took place at the Pentecost International Worship Center, Atomic on the 16th of February in the presence of friends, family, colleague and loved ones. Followed by a reception at the Red Carpet event centre, East Legon.
