Born in the United States to Ugandan parents, the former U.N worker who has been traveling since she was 6 years old became the official record holder on Sunday when she made it to the Island of Seychelles.

This means that she has travelled to all the 195 countries and nations with non-observer status scattered on the globe. It’s also interesting to note that she owns two passports; American and Ugandan which really expedited her trips.

“Welcome to the Seychelles!! Country 195 of 195! So much to say but for now I will just say thank you to this entire community for all of your support. This was our journey and thanks to all of you who came along for the ride!!,”

Sharing the news on her CatchMeIfYouCan Instagram handle, which has racked over 135k followers who follow her religiously on her journeys, she thanked the community for the support.

According to Africa News reports, Nabongo made the rather bold move for any man or woman in 2017. At the time of making this decision, she had only traveled to 60 countries which means she’s travelled to 135 countries in the space of 2-and-a-half years with an average of just under 7 days per country.
