Over the weekend Ghanaian dancehall singer, Grace Awo Ocansey known in showbiz circles as Kaakie officially became a Mrs to her sweetheart Kwesi.
In an earlier article, we shared unofficial posts and videos from the traditional ceremony.
Kaakie married her highschool sweetheart, Kwesi on Thursday in a glorious ceremony that saw her family, friends, colleagues and loved ones attend in Accra.
The “Too Much” crooner wore short wavy hair and a floor-length gown from Moda Berta as the suave Kwesi was also equally decked in a cream traditional tunic also known as Agbada for the event.
It is also reported that they had an exclusive white wedding in East Legon that same week.
Kaakie who took a break from music to study nursing in the United Kingdom had been seeing Kwesi since their days in Achimota School.
Our favourite part of the ceremony was seeing Kaakie dance to traditional drums amidst cheers and congratulatory messages from the crowd.
Check out all the photos and videos from the event below. Congratulations Kaakie
