The Corona Virus did not stop these lovebirds from saying “I do”

For most people, the novel COVID-19 virus has wrecked so much havoc in their lives, finances and their future plans including pending nuptials.

This has also been the case for U.S-based Ghanaian lovebirds, Quincy Bamfo and Adwoa Nimako Oppong who had to navigate the dicey waters of postponing their wedding or having it without close family and friends present.

After careful thinking, they chose the latter by having a beautiful Ghanaian wedding with the clergyman, photography, close family and beauty team.

Ghanaian wedding blog, We Love Ghana Weddings who shared the news along with images said their family and friends were absent for obvious reasons:

“Covid-19 did not stop these two love birds. Even though their entire families and friends were not able to be there, they chose to love and joy regardless,” it posted.

Photographer for the wedding, Seko Prince who was present and practised key social distancing protocols among other health measures also wrote:
“Love breaks all barriers. Love cannot be quarantined. Congrats to the newest @g_que & @adwoanimakoa bride and groom in town. God bless your union.”

Quincy and Adwoa who both stunned in blue outfits were love-struck and could be sharing intimate moments with each other. It is also unknown if the couple allowed for the zoom feature where family members or friends could watch the wedding from the comforts of their home as its been done by other couples.

If their wedding is anything to go by then we should be expecting many other small weddings for the time being.

Congratulations Mr and Mrs Bamfo, sending you virtual hugs and love.
