First Lady, Rebecca Akuffo-Addo and her daughters take on Japan in glamorous fashion

Being the spouse or child of a high profile figure like the President of Ghana comes with its own pecks like travelling to the Island country of Japan.

Always the lifestyle enthusiasts, the president and his family prior to his ascension to the highest office in Ghana were avid travelers and style influencers who made various stops in nations across the world.

Notwithstanding this fact, their lifestyle choices has received a massive boost. Last week the first family joined the President in Japan for the enthronement of Emperor Naruhito to the chrysanthemum throne.

Mrs. Rebecca, Gyankroma, Valerie and Edwina Akuffo-Addo were all spotted looking stylish in Japan. Like Ghana, Japan is a conservative country with traditions dating back to 2000 years ago but continues to embrace modern ideas.

In photos which were shared on social media, the trio were clad in colourful Japanese kimonos and floral headpieces to match.

The ladies also shared a photo of the First Lady wearing in a tailor-made Ghanaian kente outfit.
