Ghana Wedding: Jasmine and Samuel’s endless love has begun

“Feel my heartbeat, it beats to our song, to our endless love!”

The beautiful Jasmine and devilishly handsome Samuel are our couple of the week.

A beautiful love story which began a few years back, the Ghana wedding of Samuel Kwame a.k.a Currency and Jasmine Don-Arthur sealed the deal on September 5, 2020.

Bridal Look

Jasmine was styled by Ghanaian fashion designer, Ophelia Crossland in a simple yet sophisticated red and gold kente dress. The cold shoulder gown’s highlight was the craftsmanship which was used to produce the stunning details that embellished the bustier and the slit.

Don-Arthur’s makeup was done by Alexandrina makeup who matched her character and mood to create the perfect bridal look which went well with her curly hair.

Her second look was a red lace gown with sheer detailing by Rami RTW and it served as the luxurious cocktail dress.

Her bridesmaids were also sultry and fun in their bespoke red dresses as they danced to Ghanaian music.

Coordinator of the event, Purple Twirl writes on Instagram: “The girls chose 3 songs to dance to. It was a bit of a distance from the front door to ceremony so that worked out well. We had sent the DJ the songs on his timeline ahead of the day so he had them already cued to play. We discussed at with him at which point to switch the songs and had a Twirler prompt him to switch songs at the appropriate times.”

Groom’s Look

The groom first picked a kente cloth for his introductory look and later changed into a sleek kaftan while his groom’s men wore red kaftans.
