In the tweet which has hit over 17.5k retweets, the Nigerian based photographer announced that he had personally undertaken a campaign shoot for Mercedes Benz in Nigeria and shared the photos with his twitter audience.

As the images accumulated a lot of retweets and mentions, he struck gold when his marketing strategy caught the eyes of the Twitter team for Mercedes.

“Wow, you really have a talent. Thanks for capturing these beautiful pictures of our stars, we love them!” the team responded to his earlier tweet.

Unknown to Kashope, who started photography two year ago, that fateful Thursday was his day of destiny as his request for a contract was responded to the affirmative. Mercedes Benz asked him check his Direct Message and the rest they say is history.

Kashope has been silent about what ensued in the DM but it looks like he is set to create more iconic images for the global brand.

Just like Kashope a number of creatives and artists have caught the eyes on big names and brands via social media. Back in March, American comedian Kevin Hart bought a hyper-realistic artwork of himself from Nigerian artist,Eli Waduba after it went viral and become a social media sensation.
