Chef Freddy and the Kitchen by Ghana Food Movement tell a Ghana–Congo story through food, and it works

Acclaimed London-based Congolese Chef Freddy Suana of ‘Swatch’s Kitchen’, in collaboration with ‘The Kitchen by Ghana Food Movement’, hosted an intimate, exclusive culinary preview of Roots 2 Routes: A Fusion Journey.

Set in the heart of Osu at The Kitchen by Ghana Food Movement, “Roots 2 Routes: A Fusion Journey” is a refined four-course dining experience that reimagines West African and Congolese flavours through a Mediterranean lens — blending storytelling, culture, and elevated cuisine. Each course, paired with specialist drinks by celebrated Ghanaian sommelier ‘Vinsouvent’ in partnership with Maison Castel Wines, France – aims to elevate and compliment the distinct flavours of each dish, culminating in a unique and immersive cultural dining experience.
