The Royal Couple #MeghanMarkle & #PrinceHarry are sharing photos from Archie’s Christening online

The Duke & Duchess of Sussex on Saturday morning had a christening for their new-born son, Archie Harrison Mountbatten-Windsor.

The christening which took place in the Private Chapel at Windsor Castle was officiated by the Archbishop of Canterbury, Justin Welby who is also the Archbishop of the Church of England.

The private event was attended by an exclusive membership of close family members.

“They wanted an intimate, peaceful setting in a place with such a special connection to Her Majesty,” a royal source told People Magazine.

In a post on social media, the couple shared their gratitude to the public for the show of love and support since the birth of their baby.

“The Duke and Duchess of Sussex are so happy to share the joy of this day with members of the public who have been incredibly supportive since the birth of their son. They thank you for your kindness in welcoming their first born and celebrating this special moment,” they captioned their post. “Their Royal Highnesses feel fortunate to have enjoyed this day with family and the godparents of Archie.”
