We are getting serious Yaa Asantewaa vibes from Efya in this Pitis number

When Ghanaian songstress, Efya’s name is mentioned in any environment, one of the words that comes to mind is ‘Bold’ just like the legendary Yaa Asantewaa

Efya (born Jane Awindor) is bold and sexy in a very modern way that does not allow the word to be threatening or aggressive. She is bold, flirty, soulful and eclectic which explains why she wore this stunning beaded Kente piece for her performance at the Ghana Club 100 event.

The number from the Royalty Collection by Ghanaian womenswear brand, Pistis is a rich rendition of the warrior Queen who led Asanteman to war against the British some hundred years ago.

Styled by the award-winning stylist, Kelvincent, Efya wore the thigh-high dress with a stunning head piece by the skillful Velma Owusu-Bempah of Velma’s Accessories.

Her makeup was beautifully done to complement the full ensemble by Zulky Makeup Artistry.
