Sad news as young Ghanaian Model, Portia_the_model loses her life

News reaching Braperucci.Africa is that fledging Ghanaian model, Portia The Model has died.

The news of her demise was announced by her former management, Empire Gh Models and close friend on Tuesday morning via social media.

Portia who was signed unto Isis Model, according to unconfirmed media reports and as seen on fashion portal, FashionGhana. com died of complications from abortion.

Certain close sources who are friends of the deceased revealed that she was six months pregnant when the unfortunate incident occurred.

Speaking to Braperucci.Africa on the passing of the model, Ghanain designer, Nana Kofi Ansah of Afriken By Nana expressed shocked at the turn of her events.

“Portia was my model for Passion for Fashion, a few weeks ago and we bonded so well. I called her family when I heard of her death and its been confirmed. Her death has come as a huge shock to me. The fashion industry has lost a true gem” he said in a text message

A stunning figure and flawless Nubian skin, Portia begun her modelling career with 5-star-model management and transferred to Empire Gh Models who signed her to Isis Model.

Before her death she had modelled for several design brands including, Afriken By Nana, Studio 189, GTP and many more. She was scheduled to walk in Paris during fashion week this year before her untimely death
